There was a man
named ICHABOD in the Bible by his mother. The name means,
"The glory is departed".
Lots of believers
today are answering that name spiritually. Lots of ministers and ministries
have lost the glory. Lots of watchmen
(prayer warriors), have lost the past, fresh, hot and undiluted prayer glory. So many believers
heard from God years ago but not now again and lots of us fight today's battles
with yesterday's strength, due to lack of daily regular visits to and
reading/meditating on God's Word and indiscipline (laziness).
And that's why
victories are few with very high records of casualty in Christendom. Samson
woke out of his sleep one day and said, "I will go out as at other times
before (his yesterdays), and shake himself, but he whist not (did not know
not), that the Lord (the glory), had departed from him".
He forgot, like
lots of us, that you do not fight today's battles with the strength and
testimonies of yesterday. Every wounded
soldier of the cross must forget the past and fight on till every foe is
humiliated. So the Almighty Jesus himself, went out early in the morning, to
get fresh oil, power, direction and strength for each new day.
Concerning the
supernatural food/bread (called Manna), which the Jews ate in the wilderness,
the Word says, "and they gathered it every morning." -Exodus 16:21. They were not permitted to gather tomorrow's
food today and everyone was required to gather for him/herself only.
In the war front,
soldiers do not borrow bullets. You must personally carry your own bullets for
the everyday battles of life. Your Pastor contributes only 20% of your
spiritual growth. 80% is your own personal daily effort. The believer cannot go
on spiritual holiday for one day because; the devil is on full time duty, 7
days of the week and 52 weeks of the year.
This is the vision,
burden, and purpose of this organized publication: Our Daily Manna, to supply
you fresh daily bullets for the battles of life, daily prepare your soul for heaven and to
reveal the love/mercy of God to you afresh
daily because, Lamentations 3:23 says, they (Gods mercies) are new every morning.
Remember that it took Noah 120 years to build
the ark, which was to be used for 40 days only. God believes in organization,
orderliness and waiting! He is never confused or in a hurry. This is why this
Daily Manna publication, has been organized to help you and your family to
avoid confusion as to knowing where to read in the Bible daily, what specific
prayer points to pray about, or what prophetic declarations and inspirational
songs, etc, to use! Don't forget that desire without discipline derails good
intentions.
Discipline yourself
to get and use this booklet regularly, to feed your inner man, for daily
spiritual growth. In these end times, we
can only know what is true, if we can
discern what is false and it is only those who wait daily on the Lord, that can bear the
weight of these end time distresses.
OUR PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION (MAN, HIS
FALL AND REDEMPTION)
Romans
3:23 state that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of
God.
We believe God created man and transgression (sin) came into the
world
through the fall of man (Adam and Eve). We believe that Jesus Christ
was
revealed to redeem man from this transgression through His blood and
restore
man back in fellowship with God - John 3:3.
THE SCRIPTURES:
The
Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God to man
as
revealed to holy men 2 Tim 3:16.
THE TRINITY:
We
believe in one God but manifested in three persons, the Father, Son and
the
Holy Spirit John 14:21-26.
WATER BAPTISM:
We
believe in water baptism by immersion for believers only - Acts 8:36-39.
THE INCARNATION:
We
believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, His Virgin birth, sinless
humanity,
His substitutional death, and resurrection - John 3:16.
NEW BIRTH/ETERNAL LIFE:
We
believe that every soul on this planet must acknowledge their sins at an
accountable
age, then repent and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and savior.
This
is the new birth and it produces eternal life - John 316.
RESURRECTION OF THE DEATH AND THE
RETURN OF THE LORD:
We
believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead in Christ - I Cor.
15:51-54.
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus in the manner in which
He
left (Acts 1:11). We believe in the rapture (the catching up into the
air
of believers to meet with Jesus) - 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18.
HELL AND HEAVEN:
We
believe that there is a real physical place of anguish called hell for
the
evil doer/life outside Jesus Christ and there is a real distinct place
of
bliss called heaven for the righteous - Mark 9:45; 2 Kings 2:11;
Revelation
21:1-27.
INSTANTANEOUS AND PROGRESSIVE
SALVATION:
Phil
2:12: "… work out your salvation with fear and trembling."
We
believe a man gets born again instantly when he/she repents of sins and
accept
Jesus as Lord. However spiritual growth which is progressive
(progressive
salvation), must daily be worked out with fear and trembling
by
daily meditation in the Word and fervent prayers. We believe in the
explosive
power in fasting and praying!
We
believe in the power of daily
meditation
on the Word of God! We believe in holiness without which no man
shall
see the Lord! We believe that all that a man has - time, treasure and
talents
belongs to God! We believe in divine stewardship!

OF JESUS CHRIST AND TO CLEARLY AND BOLDLY DECLARE: THAT MAN IS NOT MADE FOR
DEFEAT AND THAT DESPITE THE INEXPLICABLE BATTLES OF LIFE, WHAT LIES BEHIND YOU
AND WHAT LIES BEFORE YOU ARE TINY COMPARED TO WHAT LIES WITHIN YOU.
